31 days of Halloween – Day 28

Today’s featured Halloween Story is told by Mike Portnoy. Mike shares with us one of his favorite Halloween memories.

Mike Portnoy was the drummer and some say the mastermind behind Dream Theater. After 25yrs, Mike parted way with them in 2010. Since then he has go on to perform with Avenged Sevenfold and record on their album Nightmare before forming several new bands. His first band would be Adrenaline Mob with Russell Allen (Symphony X) and Mike Orlando. However, due to several scheduling conflicts, Mike would step down from AMob. His other bands : Flying Colors and The Winery Dogs with Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) and Richie Kotzen (ex-Mr. Big and Poison).

Watch for Mike to be on the road with The Winery Dogs, now until Nov, and starting up again in Jan 2016. This summer, Mike looks to be performing with Twisted Sister at a few European Festivals. For all things Mike Portnoy – be sure to check out his links below.
