#TBT 2001 – SLIPKNOT in Rochester NY

This week’s Throw Back Thursday rolls us back to 2001….

Slipknot was one of the hottest bands on the nu metal scene. They had just released album #2 and was touring on OzzFest as direct support of Black Sabbath. Musician Photo Journal caught the on an off date in Rochester NY. Check out the photo gallery bellow.

It’s been a bumpy ride for Slipknot. Over the years, the band has gone in and out of hiatus and had switched band members. In 2010, the band would take a devastating blow when band member, Paul Gray, past away.

But like the phoenix, Slipknot has once again prevailed, rising above the tribulations and they are holding on strong today!

Slipknot They gear up for a tour in South America later this month, hitting North America in Oct and are scheduled for their own Knotfest in Mexico which will be held in December.
