Fit For Rivals played an intimate night of Rock at the Westcott Theater in downtown Syracuse NY. While the numbers were low, the spirit was high and there is no doubt that the Syracuse crowd experienced a magic night that may never happen again. I’m sure that next time in town, you will be pushing your way through a packed room to get a glimpse of vocalist, Renee Phoenix, Guitarists Thomas Amason and Rufino Lomboy, bassist Eli Clark and Drummer Dorman Pantfoeder rocking out on a stage.
Out in support of their latest EP, Sugar which includes hits “Freak Machine” and “Hit Me”. This band has created an amazing buzz over the years, and seeing them live – you get what that is. For me, I can’t help but see a little old school Joan Jett in Renee – while the music has catchy hooks that will be sure to drawn you in.
Wonder what’s next in store for this band, check out the interview we did with Renee and Dorman before the show.
