Styx played to a packed Chevy Court at the NYS Fair. It was estimated that over 25,000 fans were packed into Chevy Court ; that is more fans that what the NYS Grandstand holds.

They kicked off the night with “Blue Collar Man,” followed by “The Grand Illusion” and “Fooling Yourself”. The hits just continued on. Their set list had been extended since when MPJ has covered them on the “Midwest Rock-n-Roll Express Tour” in Vernon and Glens Falls. This time around they added in “I’m O.K.” “Crystal Ball” and “Pieces of Eight.”

They closed out the night with “Come Sail Away” before returning to the stage for an encore! They played “Rockin’ the Paradise” and finished with the ever powerful “Renegade.”

Styx has still puts on an amazing performance, incredible harmonies and true musicianship. If you get the chance, be sure to check them out when they roll through your town!
