Downtown Utica NY was rockin’ when 12 Stones played at Pier’s and Blake. Some of you may have recognized the vocals of 12 Stone’s Paul McCoy, as he did guest vocals Evenence’s monster hit, “Bring Me to Life” (singing the “wake me up” part). Lyrics to their song, Psycho – “Losing all control, I can feel in my soul, We can finally let go, Everybody’s going psycho” could of been the theme for the crowd that night. It was a small intimate crowd that showed up that Wednesday night, but it was a crew that knows how to rock hard!

This was my first time at Pier’s & Blake, I have to say I was very impressed. Utica has been starving for a larger music venue to house live music and I think Pier’s & Blake is just that place!! It’s large enough to hold a good size crowd; yet the bar is separate for friends to socialize, hang out and actually are able to hear each other over the music. I look forward to the other shows that will be hitting that venue soon like, Boy Hits Car with Nine Ball on Oct 27th and Hurt with Smile Empty Soul on Nov 8th.
