The 2011 JÄGERMEISTER Music Tour was a more diverse pallet of music than in the past, as Buckcherry, HellYeah, All That Remains and the Damned Things joined forces for the 6 week tour. Each band had something a little different to bring to the table. Despite the wide range of music this tour offered, it seemed to mesh well together. I’ve seen Buckcherry, HellYeah and All That Remains sell out venues on their own, so it was a no brainer to get your tickets early for this powerhouse show.
The Damned Things
The tour kicks off with an local band to get the fans going and help set the pace for the night. The first main act to take the stage was The Damned Things. They are a “super-group” made up of Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano of Anthrax, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy and Keith Buckley and Josh Newton of Every Time I Die. They played several shows last year including the Download Festival but this looks like their first full out tour. The band released their debut album, “Ironiclast” in December 2010 (Island Records). Their music has that classic rock sound, with the heavier beats and powerful melodies.
The Damned Things will be heading back out on the road wtih Volbeat and Hourcast, with a few off date, headlining shows. See Dates bellow:

All That Remains
Hitting the stage next was All That Remains. This group pulls no punches. They didn’t try to just play the “lighter” songs to in hopes of appealing to the Buckcherry crowd, but came out hitting strong, showing everyone just what they are made of. At the show in Uncasville CT, vocalist Phil Labonte asked their fans on the floor to start a circle pit. I have to admit, it was funny to see the expressions on the Buckcherry fans in the front, who most likely discovered them on the pop rock stations because it was obvious that they did not know what the hell he was taking about. The hardcore kids obliged Phil’s request and soon all knew what it was.
All That Remains continue to tour in support of their latest album, “We Are Many”. They headed down under to Australia for a run then off to Asia. HellYeah
Third on the stage was HellYeah. They have a good old southern boys of rock sound with a whiskey drinking cowboy attitude. The highlight of their performance was when they played their current single, “Better Man”, where an acoustic guitar was brought on stage for guitarist Greg Tribbet. Frontman Chad Gray gave the song his all and you could literally almost fell his pain. HellYeah released their second album “Stampede” back in July 2010.

Buckcherry
Closing out the night was Buckcherry with an upbeat, party Rock vibe; “It’s A Party” that will last “All Night Long”. They have a more Pop Rock sound than any the other bands on the bill. Their set was chock-full with hit after hit, that had the crowd dancing with fists in the air from the moment the lights went down. The crowd only slowed down long enough for them to play their ballad, “Sorry” which had the arena lit with cellphones.
Buckcherry is touring in support of their latest album, “All Night Long”.
Buckcherry will bring the Jagermeister Music Tour into Canadian with Papa Roach and My Darkest Days and HellYeah will also join them for a few shows. Then, Buckcherry will be doing several shows with Motley Crue in Mexico before heading to Europe for the “Noise on Tour” while hitting some Euro Festivals on the way. See Tour Dates below:
