ALL HALLOWS EVE TALES : Told by Matt Bachand of SHADOWS FALL.
FROM THE MPJ ARCHIVES:
Today’s feature story is from the archives of MPJ. We bring you Matt Bachand of Shadows Fall (guitarist). He tells us an unforgettable story of what happened to him one Halloween night.
MATT – My most memorable Halloween memory would have to be when we played in North Hampton, MA with Hatebreed about 7 years ago, and some poor kid in the crowd got his ear ripped off the side of his head during the show. Security had to run and pick it up off the ground, put it on ice and bring him to the hospital so they could sew it back on.
SHADOWS FALL NEWS:
Shadows Fall was part of the past summer’s Mayhem Festival (2010), where they tore up the stage. They have a “Live In The Phillippines” DVD/CD set that will be hitting the stores on October 26th on their own label, Everblack Industries and with Ferret Music. The DVD features a full length concert they performed at Pulp Summer Slam in Manila, Philippines. You can pre-order your copy today on Shadows Fall’s website.
Shadows Fall headlined The Pulp Summer Slam, which nearly 22,000 fans were in attendance. The festival was at the Araneta Coliseum, which is the same place where Muhammad Ali fought Joe Frazier in the famous boxing match known as the “Thrilla In Manila.” Watch the interview we did with Shadows Fall’s vocalist, Brian Fair as he describes the show.
